Calcium Propionate

Calcium Propionate is an organic salt as well as a food additive that is used to preserve baked goods and foods. This chemical is needed for the growth and reproduction of microorganisms, such as bacteria,molds, and fungi. This is suited for the treatment of headaches and migraines.This is also used to retain the freshness of pizza dough, tortillas, pastries, pasta, breakfast cereals, condensed milk, flavored milks, and noodles. Calcium Propionate is needed to prevent milk fever in cows and is used to make several types of medicines. This is the calcium salt of Propionic acid as well as a preservative that is needed for extending the shelf life.
